About Me

I am from the USA but have spent much of my life living overseas in Russia, Germany, and Greece. I graduated from the Eberhard Karls University of Tubingen with a BA in Classical Greek and Theology, during the course of which I also studied abroad at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I am currently pursuing a dual MA in Biblical Languages and Applied Linguistics at Dallas Theological Seminary and Dallas International University. I have tutored grade school students in language arts and reading, taught English as a foreign language to large classes of beginner-to-intermediate learners, led biblical Greek and Hebrew reading groups for German university students, and published pedagogical resources for foreign language instruction. I currently teach high school Latin and history. I am fluent in German and conversational in Russian and Modern Greek, with proficiency in Ancient Greek of all periods, Latin, and biblical Hebrew and Aramaic. I am passionate about language, literature, and history, and always eager for opportunities to share my interests and expertise with others. I value connecting with students and building good study habits, so that they can be life-long learners.
