About Me

Education has always been a journey of discovery and resilience for me. I earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M and then attended UT Southwestern for medical school. I am now a resident physician with an MD and MPH working at a large county hospital. My experience as a tutor has been shaped by both my academic background and my own learning challenges. As a tutor for medical students at my school, I have found fulfillment in breaking down complex subjects like physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology in ways that make them more accessible. Having navigated my own educational path with a diagnosis of ADHD, I understand that learning is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is centered on meeting students where they are and equipping them with strategies tailored to their unique strengths. Whether through active recall, visual learning, or problem-based approaches, my goal is to help students unlock their full potential in a way that feels intuitive and sustainable for THEM.
