About Me

I am currently attending university at Saint Louis University, studying psychology with a pre-medicine focus. I have studied abroad in Spain for a semester and in general I love to travel and learn new things about the places I visit. I have worked extensively with kids at a summer camp for the past three years (mostly with little kids), babysitting, and helping the kids I lived with in Spain learn English and math. I am very passionate about writing, particularly creative and essay writing, and I also love to read, which makes it fun for me to teach English and to provide my help with close readings of texts. As a psych major, I love learning about and talking about psychology and the different branches of it. I am also a cellist, which I have been doing since I was 2.5 years old and can read music in three clefs (treble, tenor, and bass). I am a firm believer that learning should be fun and not boring or unenjoyable, while still including valuable education and information that will be retained instead of simply regurgitated on a test and then promptly forgotten. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and enjoying the company of my family, best friend, and cat(s).
