About Me

My teaching philosophy takes on the core values I was taught when I received my doctoral degree at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and the application is Cura Personalis, which means, the care of the whole person and in this case the whole student. I took the same approach when I served in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. We need to bring out the whole person in order to see the person flourish. My previous years as a tutor taught me the value of connecting with students by getting to know them and learn from them as an effective method I bring to my teaching experience.
