During my time as a mechanical engineering student at Rowan University, I greatly enjoyed my five semesters as a teacher's assistant for both Introductory Mechanics and Physics 1. Many of the students I tutored had difficulty following along with the professors' lectures and I found I had a knack for simplifying the content and applying the concepts to real world situations. One of the most rewarding parts of the job was seeing the students have that "aha" moment, knowing I was making a positive difference in their learning experience and providing a strong foundation for the rest of their academic journey.
