I teach because I am really good at teaching. I have been teaching in a public school system for 32 years. The "light bulb" moments when students finally get it and personal growth they experience are incredibly rewarding. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education from Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Alabama) and collaboration with the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Alabama). I earned an Educational Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern Univerisity in Davie, Florida.

I am an avid University of Alabama sports fan, so you would find me on Saturdays yelling "Roll Tide" at the Alabama football games. I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs. I love vacationing in Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores, Alabama. I also enjoy walking on my treadmill or outdoors, gardening, interior decorating, and reading.
