About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa and am currently planning on attending graduate school to receive my MFA in creative writing. I also have a Deaf Studies Certificate and am a certified ASL interpreter. I enjoy tutoring kids K-12 in writing, English, poetry, public speaking, journalism and grammar. I can also help students with admissions, college essays, study skills and academic organization. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my knowledge and experiences with the next generation of learners, and to help foster a newfound appreciation for school and academics.
