As my family grew, I decided that I really wanted to teach others. I have experience teaching not only chemistry, but also most sciences required for 7th through 12 grade. I have taught in many different types of schools e.g. public schools, private schools, alternative schools, and currently a school strictly for learning disabilities. I believe that any student can be taught regardless of background, learning styles or different abilities. I believe in getting to know my student and learning what works best for them. Education should be personalized either in a classroom setting or tutoring setting. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading fiction books, crafting such as crocheting and spending time with my family.

I love to get lost in a good book! I also enjoy sudoku puzzles, crocheting and being in nature. Above all academic things, I really enjoy wet chemistry. Using my brain to discover, develop or research things. One day, when my children are older, I hope to return to a lab.
