About Me

I am a retired special education teacher with extensive experience in the field. I earned both my Bachelor of Science degree and my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University, focusing on special education, with an endorsement in emotional impairment. I spent 26 years in the classroom, with my last 17 years teaching high school subjects such as Biology, Physics, and Forensic Science. In addition to classroom teaching, I have provided tutoring across all subject areas, from elementary to high school. I am passionate about science and promoting reading comprehension. Throughout my career, I have firmly believed that all students can learn, and I strive to help those who struggle discover their unique learning styles.
