With over 4 years of experience teaching elementary English and 5 years of teaching Math to students in grades 6 through 8, I am dedicated to helping students unlock their full academic potential. In English, I help students strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary while fostering a love for literature and creative expression. In Math, I specialize in pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and using real-world examples to make the material engaging and applicable. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and taking risks, aiming to not only improve their academic skills but also build their critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-confidence for long-term success.

Outside of tutoring, I have a variety of hobbies and interests that keep me balanced and creative. I enjoy playing string instruments, with a particular passion for the guitar, as it allows me to express myself musically and unwind. Hiking is another favorite activity of mine, as it provides a chance to connect with nature and stay active. I also love reading, which fuels my curiosity and broadens my knowledge on various subjects. In my downtime, I enjoy doodling and coloring, as these activities help me relax and tap into my creative side. These interests not only enrich my personal life but also inspire my teaching by fostering creativity and problem-solving skills that I share with my students.
