About Me

I am a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and began working as a civil engineer in a private consulting firm after graduation. I worked in the private sector for a few years before working for my local city municipality as a design engineer for all in house projects. I worked with students in high school at the time, and tutored some on the side when I discovered my passion for education. After 5 years of working in the engineering field I left to pursue a career in education. I have taught various levels of mathematics for 13 years, from 7th grade to 12th grade. I love helping students grow to love a subject and see where it is relevant in the real world!
