About Me
I can help. I'm a certified teacher (EC-6, ESL, Special Education, and Science of Teaching Reading) with 5 years of classroom and online tutoring experience. I specialize in K-5 English and history, and in kids who learn differently, including English learners and students with dyslexia, ADHD, or processing challenges. What sets my sessions apart: I find out what's really getting in the way, whether it's vocabulary, reading fluency, or nerves about speaking up, and build the plan around that. I can help with: Phonics, fluency, and reading comprehension Writing, speaking, and academic vocabulary History and homework support Study skills and organization (college students welcome!)
