About Me

I love teaching because I am in love with learning, a process that I realized as neuro-diverse student with both ADHD and test anxiety. But, through the patients and dedication of my own tutors, I came to understand that what I perceived was an impediment, may actually be an asset! I would love to help you realize the same. My educational journey has been extensive, and a blessing! I have a master's degree in public health and MD from the University of Michigan. After graduation, I transitioned into residency! With that, I love teaching both medicine and it's building blocks (physiology and pathophysiology about the organ systems as well as anatomy) and public health and it's own building blocks (epidemiology, health behavior, theoretical frameworks). Finally, as a reader and writer (both freelance, scientific writing, etc...), I love teaching reading comprehension and English literature for middle/high school English courses and standardized exam preparation. Of course, essay writing and editing for personal statements, scholarships, class essays and beyond! My experience in each of these areas is a range between formal (graduate student instructor for health course), and informal (editing peers essays, personal statements, etc...). To that end, I would love to participate and support your educational journey!
