About Me

As a Simulation and Modeling Engineer at Johnson Controls Inc., I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where I also completed a Certification of Teaching at College Level Program. This certification has honed my ability to engage students from diverse academic, technical, and cultural backgrounds effectively. Throughout my academic career, I have embraced various teaching styles to cater to different learning needs, with a strong belief in the power of collaborative learning. I have provided hands-on learning opportunities, guiding students through laboratory courses by first explaining the theory and then supervising their practical experiments. My interactive approach in the classroom, where I actively engage students by asking questions, has significantly enhanced their interest and understanding of the subject matter. My passion lies in Thermodynamics, Science, and Physics. I have a robust background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. During my time at Stevens Institute of Technology, I taught several mechanical engineering and laboratory courses, including Thermal Engineering, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermal System Laboratory. I have had the privilege of teaching students from various cultural backgrounds, including international students with diverse technical and learning capabilities. I am deeply passionate about advanced science and technology, and I strive to bring this enthusiasm into the classroom. I encourage my students to explore the technological benefits of the subjects they learn, fostering a dynamic environment where they can develop their ideas and express their strengths. My teaching experience includes supervising laboratory sessions in thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, where I collected thermo-fluidic data and delivered lectures on various experiments such as the Refrigeration System, Rankine Cycler, and Hot Furnace. Additionally, I have supported students with their homework and laboratory assignments, ensuring they grasp the course material thoroughly.
