About Me

As a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students in both the public school system and private practice. My journey began with a Speech Language Pathology degree from Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus), and I have since enhanced my expertise by receiving Orton Gillingham (OG) training through a vendor from the Orton Gillingham Academy. Throughout my career, I have been committed to providing high-quality services to my clients, utilizing my extensive knowledge and skills in speech-language pathology. My OG training has equipped me with specialized techniques to support students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties, allowing me to create tailored interventions that address their unique needs. I am well-versed in implementing the OG approach, which aligns seamlessly with the principles of speech-language pathology. Both disciplines emphasize individualized instruction, multisensory learning, and evidence-based practices, creating a robust environment where scholars can thrive. By integrating these approaches, I have witnessed significant strides in my students' academic journeys, fostering their confidence and success.
