In Beijing I worked as a "Foreign Legal Consultant" for a large Chinese Law Firm. For instance, in China, English is a mandatory second language, so I was constantly asked to help our legal staff improve their English. In China, the better your English language skills, the better jobs you could get; the better schools you could get into, etc.; knowledge could change their lives and feed their families. It was much the same during the times I spent in Mongolia, and even with people in the South Korean Embassy in Beijing. I have enjoyed sharing my language skills with the eager, highly motivated people of all ages I met wherever I have been. For a full life, we must always keep learning whether learning English, or some other language, studying cook books to learn how to make perfect pumpkin pies, or discovering alternate universes with quantum physics, keep learning, keep learning, keep learning; always sharing your knowledge with those who ask you to teach it to them.

International travel, cultivating new friendships around the world, and always learning as much as I can about as many things as possible. I love to find out how many different ways people around the world like to eat their pizzas, and sharing what Americans, and America are truly like.
