Teaching was my second career. I spent most of my early adulthood in management as a Learning and Development or Training Manager. I have my SHRM- SCP (Senior Certified Professional), my Six Sigma Green Belt, a Change Management for HR, and I am currently working on getting a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Teaching, training, change management, and continuous improvement are all important to me. However, my students- whether they are teens or my peers- are MOST important to me. Ultimately, communication drives all of it.

Reading, puzzles, working in my yard, attending theatre, concerts, and all arts venues as well as performing when I can. I have two teenagers who keep me busy in addition to two dogs, three cats, a snake, and a green anole.
