About Me

For over 25 years, I have dedicated myself to helping students thrive academically, and I genuinely believe it is my life calling. My career in higher education has allowed me to work with students in various settings, from traditional classrooms and online platforms to one-on-one advising and tutoring. The joy I experience in witnessing students achieve their academic goals is a constant source of inspiration and fuels my passion and dedication to this work. I earned a Master of Arts in Humanities from California State University and a Doctorate in Humanities from Warnborough University. With a deep understanding of the humanities, I tutor across a wide range of subjects, including writing, literature, philosophy, the arts, history, and Western civilization. Each subject holds a special place for me, as every area of study has unique challenges and rewards. My teaching philosophy focuses on meeting students where they are and tailoring my approach to their individual needs. I prioritize clear communication, active engagement, and fostering a love of learning. Whether helping a student untangle the complexities of philosophical thought or guiding them through an intricate writing assignment, I aim to make the learning process both accessible and enjoyable. Outside of academia, my life is happily filled with family, football, and my animals, all of which keep me on my toes.
