Before college, I taught abacus to students K-12 for 2 years. One of the most exciting parts of that job was helping young kids learn how to multiply big numbers using mental math! After graduating, I went to SUNY College of Optometry for 2 years, but decided to leave because it wasn't the right path for me. Even though I enjoyed Optometry, I realized it wasn't my true calling.
