I received my Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music (Voice) with a Concentration in Music Business (Honors) from Belmont University. I tutor Music Theory, Aural Skills, Voice, String Bass, and beginner Guitar and Piano. I have 9 years of experience working with students ages 1422, and nearly two decades of experience working with children ages 312 through live music performances and literacy programs at local schools and libraries alongside my mom. I am also a working musician with nearly 20 years of performance experience. When I work with students, I always begin with the individual. I strive to help students connect the concepts we explore to the music they love, helping them maintain their joy for music while finding their own voice and realizing their goals. My mantra with all of my students is, "We are all beginners at something." I believe in lifelong learning and aim to encourage students to accept challenges, take risks, and build confidence through growth and discovery.
