I received Montessori Teacher Training from UCSB and completed the Waldorf grades teacher program through the WISC, later becoming a grades assistant at Highland Hall Waldorf School. During my children's school years, I also volunteered for several years at a local Kumon reading and math center, where I gained valuable experience supporting students' academic growth. In recent years, I've focused on online teaching, specifically working with the Ignite Reading program, which partners with public schools on the East Coast to help children improve their reading skills. My approach to tutoring is centered around creating a nurturing and supportive environment where students feel confident to explore and learn at their own pace. I believe in the importance of individualized attention and strive to tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique needs.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming, walking my dog, and spending time with family and friends. I also teach a weekly mastermind class for real estate agents on real estate investing, blending my love for teaching with another area of expertise. I’m passionate about helping students unlock their potential and fostering a lifelong love for learning. I am also a published author and former radio show host.
