Then I was a classroom teacher for 7 years in Alaska. I have experience with elementary and middle school students. In my most recent years in the classroom, I worked in a district that put a heave emphasis on reading interventions so I was able to put considerable effort towards my reading instruction. I also LOVE teaching math concepts through the use of hands on materials and real world applications. I enjoy working with all students in all subject areas. Some of my favorite areas to work with students in are reading, math, and social studies. School was not always easy for me so helping students to avoid the struggles that I went through is very motivating for me. For now I am a stay at home mom, but someday I will return to the classroom as an elementary school teacher until I finish my master's degree in administration when I hope to obtain a job as a principal or activities director.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughter, and our dog. I also love being involved with sports, wether I am coaching or playing. Softball, volleyball, and basketball are some of my favorite sports. Additionally, I like to try my hand at crafting with my Cricut machine.
