About Me

Hello! My name is Asli, and I am an experienced and passionate interior designer and educator. With over 15 years of industry experience and a robust academic background, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my students. I hold a PhD in Interior Architecture; my academic journey also includes an MFA in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and a LEED GA certification. As an active ARIDO member, I am currently pursuing NCIDQ certification, expected in April 2025. As an educator, I teach various courses at Yorkville University and Sheridan College, covering design theory, digital communications, sustainable practices, and building systems. My hands-on, project-based approach inspires students to conceive, design, and execute projects from start to finish. At Varsity Tutors, I offer courses like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign, and more all available in both English and French!
