About Me

I am passionate about helping students succeed because I believe education is a key to unlocking potential and achieving personal and professional goals. With a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Georgetown University and extensive teaching experience at the University of British Columbia, I have developed a robust skill set in linguistics, data analysis, and research methods. I have over six years of experience working with students, both as a lecturer and a lab manager, where I taught courses in data analysis, statistics, research methods, phonetics, phonology, and introduction to linguistics. I also provided one-on-one guidance to students on their research projects, helping them to understand complex concepts and develop their analytical skills. I tutor subjects including Linguistics, Data Analysis, Basic Statistics, R Programming, Data Visualization, Python Programming, and Research Methods. My favorite subject to tutor is Quantitative Linguistic data analysis because it allows me to explore the intricate ways language functions and is produced, which I find fascinating.
