About Me

Hello!! My name is Ms. Kamilah Perkins and I'm excited to be your tutor. I have worked with students in K-12 and college. I've been teaching for 10 years and tutoring for 15 years. My subject areas are Reading, ELA, Writing, College Essays and Humanities. I also assist with ACT/SAT Test prep. My goal is to help you not only understand the material but also to develop a love for learning and the confidence to tackle challenges on your own. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and interactive environment where we'll work together to clarify concepts, solve problems, and develop effective study strategies. I believe that everyone learns differently, so I'm here to tailor my approach to suit your individual needs.
