About Me
I hold a Master of Music (MM) degree in Orchestral Conducting from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) from The Ohio State University. Teaching experience includes Music Theory, Conducting, Instrumental Lessons, and Large Ensemble Rehearsals with students of all ages and backgrounds, in classroom, rehearsal, small group, and one-on-one settings. Professional experience includes serving as a cover conductor with three professional orchestras, and work as a Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University and the University of Iowa. I am able to tutor students in the subjects of Music Theory, Aural Skills, Music History/Musicology, Music Performance, Music Composition, and Score Reading. I take an individual-based approach with each student, able to modify curriculum to fit each individual's needs and areas of interest.
