About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management from Upper Iowa University. I also hold a credential as a Certified Fraud Examiner and as a Certified Financial Crimes Specialist. I have gained much experience in business, finance, and securities through my position as a Market Regulation Examiner with the Chicago Stock Exchange, Examiner with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and my positions as a Manager of Internal Surveillance in the Financial Crimes Risk Management division of Charles Schwab. I currently hold a position as a Risk Analyst with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. My position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to various levels of organizations both internal and external. The Certified Fraud Examiner Membership is the standard of professional excellence in the anti-fraud profession. Obtaining the CFE membership requires a high moral character as well as annual certification of Continuing Professional Education credits in both Fraud and Ethical related studies. With this credential, in addition to my educational background, I would be an excellent addition to your company. I've completed the Series 7 exam, which is the entry-level industry standard exam for the securities industry. Additionally, I completed my certification as a Certified Financial Crime Specialist, furthering my passion and expertise for fraud and finance. I have also passed the Series 24 exam, which is the General Securities Principal Exam for FINRA.
