I chose to become an educator because I believe in the immense power of words to inform, and, especially, to inspire. I also believe literacy prepares young people to be shrewd, well-informed citizens who know how to recognize reputable sources within the myriad of information they encounter daily.
Hobbies & Interests
Reading mysteries, science fiction, true crime, and biography books, playing basketball with my family, watching scary movies, and playing with my dog.
