I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Texas State University. Since graduation, I have spent the last 15 years in public education as a tutor, Kindergarten teacher, second grade teacher, and elementary librarian. As an advocate for early childhood education, I firmly believe that the foundation laid during these formative years shapes a child's academic, social, and emotional development. Early childhood education is not merely about teaching basic skills; it is about nurturing a child's curiosity, creativity, and love for learning from the outset. In my spare time, I enjoy reading more than anything, but also love traveling and hiking!
