About Me

I struggled to apply myself to studies in high school, scraping by in honors classes with low B's. My experience helps me relate to students who find themselves detached from school or generally unfocused. Over my junior and senior years, and now into my freshman year of college, I have accrued study skills which have propelled me to academic performance I thought was impossible for me. Honing my essay writing to graduate levels, sharpening my rhetorical skills for academia and beyond, and indulging in humanities and philosophy, I have grown as a person in my study of the liberal arts, and I hope to help other students find similar development. I have experience tutoring students with learning differences. My tutoring style is based on the pillars of compassion, respect, and curiosity: I believe any student can success with these qualities.
