My love for history stems from its power to cultivate awareness and appreciation for diverse cultures, both past and present. It's not just about memorizing dates it's about the real people and events that have shaped our world. I'm fascinated by how history empowers us to be informed citizens. By understanding the past, we can better navigate the present and work towards a more positive future. Technology excites me as a tool to revolutionize learning and make knowledge accessible to everyone. In my free time, I'm an avid traveler, reader (especially non-fiction and true crime!), and documentary enthusiast. My passion extends to the athletic field, where I coach track and basketball. I believe in fostering a well-rounded learning experience, and I'm always looking for innovative ways to engage students! I also appreciate how technology has the power to transform how we learn! My strengths are creating lessons, videos, projects and assessments that spark creativity in genuine thought beyond the classroom. I believe every student learns differently and has core strengths that stretch beyond standardized methods. I look forward to working with students who are open to learning history in a new light!
