- I student taught in a 7th/8th grade math classroom.
About Me
After graduating, I moved to Arizona to start my career as an educator, where I have taught Algebra I and Algebra II. Prior to graduating, I spent countless hours tutoring students of various readiness levels in subjects ranging from 5th grade math to Calculus. My favorite math to tutor is any algebra because it is such common and useful tool that anyone will use for the rest of life! I am very passionate about finding ways to help students understand the real-world connections we can make to mathematics, and how we can relate it to each individual. I am a strong advocate for the importance of a mathematics education because math is a common language around the world, and it helps us to develop logical problem-solving skills. Outside of the classroom and tutoring, I enjoy spending time outdoors either hiking or sitting by the pool, baking, reading, and watching college football!
