About Me

Hello, my name is Sonja Clark, and I am excited to offer my tutoring services through Varsity Tutors. My family and I moved to East Tennessee in 2021, but I'm a native Texan, having graduated from Texas Woman's University. With fourteen years of experience in education, I have worked with children from Pre-K through 8th grade and am currently pursuing my master's degree at the University of Tennessee. I serve as an elementary K-2nd Special Education teacher for the Knox County School District. When I am not teaching or studying, I cherish spending quality time with my family. Being a wife, mother, and Mimi brings immense joy and fulfillment to my life, inspiring me to be a better educator. My family is my greatest blessing, and their support motivates me daily. I am passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments, and I am dedicated to helping each student discover their unique strengths and achieve their academic goals.
