About Me

Hi, my name is Matt and I'm a tutor and licensed educator based in Brooklyn, New York. I specialize in literacy, writing, and ADHD/learning disabilities but I have taught everything from High School Economics (English as a new language) to Kindergarten Math. I am a life long learner, a future clinical social worker, and an active musician. As an educator my greatest passion is helping foster a genuine love of learning in all of my students. Whether it's a high school student who needs help with a college essay or a kindergartner who wants to learn to write their first song, I would love to work with you. As a student with ADHD I believe strongly in holistic education. Many students fail to thrive despite a natural talent and curiosity. As a tutor I use my concurrent education in social work to help students develop the soft skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
