I received my Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Peacebuilding with minors in Political Science, International Development, and Health and Human Science. I have also tutored college students in reading and writing techniques which I greatly enjoyed. I am very familiar with teaching students with learning disabilities or for whom English is their second language. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Spanish, Literature, and History. In my experience helping adults learn English and basic US history, we always seem to have the most fun learning from each other and the skills we each bring to the table. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.

I love to travel and getting to know the world around me. You can also find me spending lots of time outside backpacking, gardening, or skiing. I LOVE a good book, and find myself spending time studying up on the history of China or catching up on the latest summer fiction!
