As a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, my passion for helping students stems from a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education. These experiences drive my commitment to providing personalized and effective tutoring. My journey in education began during my undergraduate studies, where I developed a love for teaching while volunteering as a tutor for younger students. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology from Grinnell College. This academic background has equipped me with a robust understanding of educational theories and practical teaching strategies. I tutor a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Economics, Sociology, and Geography. However, my favorite subject to tutor is Mathematics. The logical structure and problem-solving nature of math provide endless opportunities for creative teaching methods. I particularly enjoy helping students overcome their math anxiety and develop a genuine interest in the subject.

Outside of academia, I have a variety of interests that keep me grounded and inspired. I enjoy hiking, playing the piano and clarinet, and spending time with my family and my pets.
