- I am passionate about supporting students because I know only too well how challenging studying can be.
About Me
I believe that everyone, with the right supports, can excel. I graduated with B.A. from Kenyon College in the U.S., where I double majored in International Studies and Arabic. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored other students in Arabic, French, and worked on their writing skills. I am currently working towards my MPhil in Sociology at the University of Cambridge. Between my degrees, I worked in Washington, DC in politics and, in my spare time, worked with Latino migrants to develop their English skills to access better work opportunities. I am thrilled to offer tutoring for English language and literature, French language, Spanish language, and Arabic language, as well as geography, political science, and sociology, which are all subjects that I studied at an advanced level in university. I also offer tutoring in drama, religious studies, and Theory of Knowledge which are subjects where I excelled during my secondary examinations. My favorite subjects to tutor are geography and sociology, as I enjoy watching students make connections on how interconnected the world is- both materially and relationally.
Hobbies & Interests
I am a voracious reader and a keen hiker, and kayaker once the warmer weather arrives. I enjoy cooking and find a lot of pleasure out of making the most of whatever produce is in season. I love to travel as much as my schedule permits. Last year, I went to Japan and Korea!
