- Although I have developed my teaching roots in a more academic field, my true passion lies in 2D animation.
- When it comes to teaching animation, I firmly believe in balancing lectures with hands on exercises.
About Me
I am a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design and received a BFA in Animation in May 2024. I developed hands-on experience teaching both peers and younger students throughout my life, and have done one on one lessons teaching both math and violin. I have always jumped on any opportunity to help peers in school on a broad range of subjects ranging from geometry to Japanese and derive great fulfillment from providing clarity and knowledge to students. Having been primarily self-taught in animation, I have a great desire to share what I wish I could have learned early on in a way that was easier to digest as a first time animator. Trial and error is a vital part of a successful animation and one of the core reasons I adore this medium; it teaches you that failure is okay and necessary to improve upon your craft.
Hobbies & Interests
I am an avid animal lover and grew up surrounded by family pets and the menagerie of dogs living on my street. In my free time I enjoy animating, creating art, and playing video games.
