I am a recent college graduate, having obtained a bachelor's degree with honors in International Politics from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. I am currently enrolled in graduate school, pursuing a master's degree in Global, International, and Comparative History (also from Georgetown). My education has afforded me exposure to a wide variety of advanced history, international relations, and government courses, ranging from Global History and U.S. as a World Power to Congressional Politics and Comparative Political Systems. I am also experienced in academic research, having produced a senior thesis examining electoral politics and military policy. For each of the course topics I plan on tutoring, I have an ample degree of experience myself. I have taken AP United States History, AP American Government and Politics, and AP World History, in addition to a number of civics and English classes. I am also an alumnus of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, providing me with a globalized academic perspective. I have acquired considerable mentorship/teaching credentials over the past several years. Having tutored elementary, middle, and high schoolers both online and in-person, the ability to instruct and engage with students is a muscle I have actively toned. I also work periodically as a substitute teacher for K-12 classes, dealing with students of all nearly all ages and educational backgrounds. As a veteran of speech and debate, I do my best to captivate the classroom and make learning an enjoyable experience. Helping to bring young people out of their shell and make them invested in course content is a goal I set for myself universally.

I love all things history, ocean, and politics related. You can often catch me kayaking, watching C-SPAN, or touring monuments. Sometimes all in the same day!
