Driven educator dedicated to helping students foster their personal academic understanding through their own individual learning style and student-centered learning practices that highlight inquiry and student voice and choice, which increase confidence both inside and outside of the classroom. I earned my B.A. of English from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) with minors in Psychology and Performance Studies, and went on to earn my M.A. from New York University. I am currently a 10th and 11th grade English teacher, but I have taught every grade 9-12, including both AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature.
