About Me

I am very passionate about helping my students reach their full potential. I enjoy being able to guide people to that "AHA" moment. I have been in education for the since 2019 and teaching honors classes since 2022. I have a bachelor's degree in history from Texas A&M as well as a master's degree in history from Southern New Hampshire University. I tutor U.S. History, World History, Geography, AP U.S. History, AP World History. My favorite subject is U.S. History particularly focusing on the Early Republic Era to the Civil War. I believe that every student deserves a passionate and devoted teacher who does not just give them the answer to the question but guides them to the correct answer through critical thinking and helps to foster a deeper understanding of the material. Outside of academia I am a 19th century living historian and volunteer at many historic sites across the country. I also am an avid woodworker and build household furniture.
