As a seasoned nurse with over seven years of experience, including a tenure as a nursing instructor, I have developed a profound passion for education and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. My journey in teaching began unexpectedly, as I discovered an innate joy and fulfillment in guiding and inspiring others while sharing my knowledge in nursing. With a Master's Degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University, and currently pursuing my Doctorate Degree in Nursing, I am deeply committed to continuous learning and professional growth. My transition from clinical practice to academia has been driven by a desire to instill in students the same dedication, compassion, and expertise that define the nursing profession. Having served as a nursing instructor for over a year, I have honed my instructional skills and earned recognition as the highest-rated instructor at my university. While nursing holds a special place in my heart, I am equally passionate about tutoring subjects like algebra, anatomy and physiology, and other sciences, as they serve as integral components of nursing education. Beyond academia, I find joy in reading, cooking, and spending time with my beloved guinea pig. I am interested in cooking and baking. My husband's Hispanic heritage has encouraged me to try and improve my cooking skills, especially with Mexican dishes. I also love to read. I have a full library in my house full of novels that I read in my free time. Finally, I spend every single day with my guinea pig. I love taking care of her, cuddling with her, and giving her the best treats!
