I hold a Doctor of Education, with emphasis in Computer Applications in Business, from the Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. I also hold a M.S. in Applied Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Princess Anne, MD. Then I obtained an AAS in Health Informatics and Information Technology from the Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville, MD. In addition, I have two college degrees from overseas universities. I have also obtained the following professional information technology (IT) certifications: CETL, RHIT, CCNA, CCDA, Project+, Security+, Network+, and A+. I have 45 years of combined teaching and industry experience. I have taught in several countries and US territories from a junior high school accounting and business teacher through a university professor and researcher in information technology. Further, I have been the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of three organizations - from small to medium to Fortune 10 corporations. My favorites subjects to tutor are professional IT certifications in which I bring my vast industry experience to bear on the academic side of concepts. I love to integrate hands-on virtual lab activities in my sessions as I believe that students learn better with "doing" which helps them to understand theoretical concepts.
