About Me
I am a Navy Veteran, a National Registered Paramedic and program director, a Virginia Education Coordinator, and an American Heart Association Instructor. I have 30 + years of diverse EMS and public safety experience teaching high school students to older adult learners. I am excited and passionate about helping individuals learn new skills and make complex subjects easier to understand. I have experience in helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests. I always tell them, "You only fail when you quit trying; you are stronger than you think; keep going." Many students feel defeated when they do not successfully pass tests; they often have test anxiety or do not understand how the test is written. Helping learners feel more prepared and ready results in higher pass rates. I try to live an active life by enjoying life adventures and exploring other individuals' cultures, which is rewarding and priceless.
Hobbies & Interests
I try to live an active life by enjoying life adventures and exploring other individuals’ cultures, which is rewarding and priceless. I enjoy travelling interstate and internationally and attending various festivals, concerts, and amusement parks.
