My passion for teaching stems from my diverse experiences, including serving as a Missionary in Taiwan and a Foreign Area Officer for the US Army in China. With over five years of tutoring experience and a Master's degree in Modern Chinese History from Cornell University, I am equipped to guide students through the complexities of the language in an approachable and relatable manner. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages students to engage with the material confidently. My goal is to make the learning process enjoyable and effective, helping each student unlock their potential in Mandarin Chinese.
