About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Early Childhood Education. However, I have had experience teaching at all elementary levels, as well as high school, as a substitute teacher. In recent years I have worked as a fitness instructor for older active adults. I believe that education is important for all and opens many doors. When working with students, I love seeing what I like to call the "light bulb moment" when a concept they've been working to master suddenly makes sense.
