I take great joy in helping a student understand mathematical concepts and articulating the beauty of math and, hopefully, becoming something of a role model to my students. I have been tutoring with Varsity for over a year in subjects ranging from SAT Math and SAT Reading/Grammar to Writing, Algebra I, and Precalculus. I have a degree in philosophy and theology and humanities from Indiana Wesleyan University, a small evangelical Christian college in Marion, IN, and I plan to embark on further study in the future. While attending Indiana Wesleyan, I also took several advanced math and statistics courses, including Calculus I, Applied Statistics II, Discrete Math, and others.
