I have been teaching and tutoring for over 30 years. I love working with students of all ages and I enjoy teaching phonics, reading, writing, and math. I am passionate about teaching because I love helping students to succeed and I believe every student has the ability to learn when given the proper tools. I use a variety of teaching strategies and methods to keep my students engaged. My lessons often include visuals and games to help students retain information. I always keep students' interests in mind when planning lessons and activities. When I'm not helping students I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my grandchildren.
