About Me

I provide friendly, supportive, and challenging instruction. I use humor and encouragement to build student mastery and confidence. With over 20 years of experience in both the traditional classroom environment as well as teaching virtually, I love working with students of all ages, especially elementary and middle school students. While my passion is math, I am certified in a variety of other areas, such as English language arts and social studies. I have a specific interest in challenging gifted and talented students to maximize their potential. However, I have years of experience differentiating for students with a variety of special educational needs. I am a licensed teacher with National Board Certification. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in instructional technology. I currently hold my Masters as well as my Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership.
