About Me

I love getting to help students better understand the world around them. I particularly love getting to help students better understand what people want to say and effectively share their ideas. I have loved History since I was a child and helping discuss how people and events are connected to understand how we became who we are today. This is how we do our part to make the world a better place. I studied Japanese History at SOAS, an area studies school of the University of London. I have my Master's in Teaching from Northeastern. I have tutored since college, helping improve 20 grade points in Introduction to Sociology as well as serving as the TA for several History Courses. I have taught 5th-grade World History, Elementary and Middle School English as a Foreign Language, and Prekindergarten.
